Medley: Je n'En Connais Pas La Fin / Hymne a l'amour (live from the Bataclan) Jeff Buckley
(R. Asso/M. Monnot/E.Piaf)
Both the songs were originally performed by Edith Piaf

I used to know a little square
So long ago, when I was small
All summer long it had a fair
Wonderful fair with swings and all
I used to love my little fair
And at the close of everyday

I could be found, dancing around
A merry-go-round that used to play:

"Ah, mon amour
A toi toujours
Dans tes grands yeux
Rien que nous deux"

All summer long my little fair
Made everyday like a holiday
Night after night it used to play
People came there from so far away
And everyone sang that little tune
All around the town you heard it played

Even Pepi from Napoli
He sang to Marie this serenade

[qui inizia Hymne a l'amour]
If the sun should tumble from the sky
If the sea should suddenly run dry
If you love me, really love me
Let it happen darling, I won't care

Shall I catch a shooting star
Shall I bring it where you are
If you want me to, I will. (I hope I get this right)
You can set me any task
I'll do anything you ask
If you'll only love me still

When at last, our life on earth is through
I will spend eternity with you
If you love me, really love me

Let it happen darling, I won't care

As minhas primeiras sugestões:

Partida/Alvorada

Today, Smashing Pumpkins, 3:50
Kickapoo, Tenacious D, 4:23
Highway to Hell, AC/DC, 3:35

Fiquei sem ideias, de momento... Amanhã continua.

Too Drunk to Fuck, música original dos Dead Kennedys:

Went to a party
I danced all night
I drank 16 beers
And I started up a fight

But now I am jaded
You're out of luck
I'm rolling down the stairs
Too drunk to fuck

Too drunk to fuck
Too drunk to fuck
Too drunk, to fuck
I'm too drunk, too drunk, too drunk
To fuck

I like your stories
I love your gun
Shooting out truck tires
Sounds like loads and loads of fun

But in my room
Wish you were dead
You ball like the baby
In Eraserhead

Too drunk to fuck
Too drunk to fuck
Too drunk, to fuck

Quartas-Feiras V

Paranoid Android

Please could you stop the noise, I'm trying get some rest
From all the unborn chicken voices in my head
What's this...? (I may be paranoid, but not an android)
What's this...? (I may be paranoid, but not an android)

When I am king, you will be first against the wall
With your opinion which is of no consequence at all
What's this...? (I may be paranoid, but no android)
What's this...? (I may be paranoid, but no android)

Ambition makes you look pretty ugly
Kicking and squealing gucci little piggy
You don't remember
You don't remember
Why don't you remember my name?
Off with his head, man
Off with his head, man
Why don't you remember my name?
I guess he does...

Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me
From a great height
From a great height... height...
Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me
From a great height
From a great height... height...
Rain down, rain down
Come on rain down on me

That's it sir
You're leaving
The crackle of pigskin
The dust and the screaming
The yuppies networking
The panic, the vomit
The panic, the vomit
God loves his children, God loves his children, yeah!

If There Is a God

And if there is a God
I know he likes to rock
He likes his loud guitars
His spiders from Mars

And if there is a God
I know he's watching me
He likes what he sees,
But there's trouble on the breeze.

Who are you, this time?
Are you one of us,
Flying blind?
'Cause we're down here throwing stones
While you're so far from home

And if there is a God
And if there is a God
He's a spy with bedroom eyes
Who cowers in our skies

Who are you, this time?
Are you one of us
Flying blind?
'Cause we're down here throwing stones
While you're so far from home

And if there is a God
If there is a God...

Acabou

The Blower's Daughter

And so it is
Just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time
And so it is
The shorter story
No love, no glory
No hero in her sky

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

And so it is
Just like you said it should be
We'll both forget the breeze
Most of the time
And so it is
The colder water
The blower's daughter
The pupil in denial

I can't take my eyes off of you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes...

Did I say that I loathe you?
Did I say that I want to
Leave it all behind?

I can't take my mind off of you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind...
My mind...my mind...
'Til I find somebody new...

Qual é a historia desta terra?

É tão pouca a gloria duma guerra

Teresinha

O primeiro me chegou
Como quem vem do florista
Trouxe um bicho de pelúcia
Trouxe um broche de ametista
Me contou suas viagens
E as vantagens que ele tinha
Me mostrou o seu relógio
Me chamava de rainha
Me encontrou tão desarmada
Que tocou meu coração
Mas não me negava nada
E, assustada, eu disse não

O segundo me chegou
Como quem chega do bar
Trouxe um litro de aguardente
Tão amarga de tragar
Indagou o meu passado
E cheirou minha comida
Vasculhou minha gaveta
Me chamava de perdida
Me encontrou tão desarmada
Que arranhou meu coração
Mas não me entregava nada
E, assustada, eu disse não

O terceiro me chegou
Como quem chega do nada
Ele não me trouxe nada
Também nada perguntou
Mal sei como ele s e chama
Mas entendo o que ele quer
Se deitou na minha cama
E me chama de mulher
Foi chegando sorrateiro
E antes que eu dissesse não
Se instalou feito um posseiro
Dentro do meu coração

R.E.M.
Everybody Hurts

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes...

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on...

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone...

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on...

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone...

Carpe Diem

Façam-no.

Hallelujah (Rufus Wainwright)
I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe I've been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There was a time you let me know
What's real and going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you?
The holy dark was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Maybe there's a God above
And all I ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It's not a cry you can hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
Its a cold and its a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
